When it comes to shooter and games with guns there's no shortage of those kind of games when it comes to the Playstation 3, but there's almost to many shooter games out on the PS3 market, making it hard to find those great shooter games that's out there. I made this list so that people can more easy find those awesome shooter games on PS3. Everything from military shooter games like CoD:MW and Battlefield 3 to a bit different shooter games like BioShock. On each game I have included a short description and I talk about what I love about that game and also a trailer for each game so you can get a better understanding of what the game looks like. And if you want to find out more about each game just click the link that's included on each section.
This list is my personal list of great shooter games on the PS3 and you might not like all these games, but on the button of this page you can vote on your favourite shooter games for the Playstation 3 and even suggest games you think should be on the list.

Battlefield 3 - by Electronic Arts
If you never played the battlefield series before it important to consider that the battlefield games is all about the online game play, the developers has put most of the effort into the online mode, making it amazing. The single player campaign in my opinion isn't always that fun, the single player campaign in BF3 is very brief and isn't your best choice if you're looking for a good single player shooter.
But if you're looking for a online experience, then Battlefield 3 is the most complete, the most fun, the best looking first person shooter out on the market. You can fly jets, drive cars, helicopter and tanks! And there's so much weapons to choose from making it very easy to customize your weapons just the way you like it.
If you love online FPS, buy this game!

Battlefield Bad Company 2 - by Electronic Arts
Battlefield Bad Company 2 is another game in the Battlefield series by the Swedish game company DICE. This games is a solid First person shooter game, with great controls and stunning graphics, it's not as good as Battlefield 3 in my opinion but it's pretty damn good. Once again is the online part of the game where you'll have the most fun, great action, big massive battlefields and just tremendous fun! The single player campaign is still great fun and I really like the story. It's been some years since the game released so the price has gone down down down, so go buy this bargain shooter on Amazon.com or click the Amazon link to find out more and read customer reviews from other gamers.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - by Activision
First person shooter game from 2008.
Call of Duty 4 modern warfare is yet another great online first person shooter game. The Call of Duty is one of the most popular game series on the market and the game company is just realeasing new games to the CoD series all the time (atleast one new game a year) I must be honest I'm not that up to date when I comes to the newest realese in the CoD series, but I do know I enjoy Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare a lot! And I do know it's a awesome game. I like the online part of the game the most, it consists of very fast action almost feels like the same kind of action you would get by playing Quake online (if you remember that) It's a lot of fun, tons of weapons to choose from, tons of perks that makes your solider better in different ways. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception - by Sony
One of the best games to the PS3, Uncharted is best explained like you're playing the main character of a Hollywood action movie. The story is just fantastic in this game, the controls are awesome and the action is everywhere! :D
It's a third person shooter game with a mix of puzzles, jumping and climbing on walls and a lot of shooting bad guys with guns.
There's a online multiplayer in this game and that's fun for a few days, I got bored of it rather quick but it wasn't as fun as the single player campaign. There's a co-op mode with 2 player split screen and that's a lot of fun, small missions you can play toghter on, co-op is always fun but the co-op part of the game isn't huge.
Overall a fantastic game and one of my personal favourites for the PS3

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - by Sony
This is the 2nd game in the Uncharted series, it's also a fantastic game, not as good as Uncharted 3 if you ask me but it pretty damn close! A big plus is that this game is much cheaper then Uncharted 3, so if you're not sure if the Uncharted games are anything for you, then buy this game for a few dollars and check it out, you wont be disappointed.

Bioshock - by Take 2
Bioshock is a first-person singleplayer shooter game. I don't want to spoil anything from the story of the game but let me tell you this...it's awesome! And the voice acting really helps the story to come alive, you really feel that they thought the story was important when the made this game.
But it's not just the story that's good, the game itself is just great, there's a lot of variety in the gameplay and that I think is one of the reasons that Bioshocks is so much fun to play. And the game graphics and design are just beautiful, I love the feeling of the world you enter when playing this game. Dead Space - by Electronic Arts
Dead Space is a 3rd person shooter horror game set in space. A spaceship filled with zombie aliens trying to kill you in the most creepies ways possible, get ready to get scared if you get this game. The feeling of this game is just fantastic, a dark and creepy feeling through the whole game. If you don't like to be scared, don't buy this game! :D
This is the first game of the Dead Space series so if you like this game there's plenty of gaming to do after you completed the first game.
